Shipping Overview

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

DirectDeals offers the following shipping options:

  • Next Business Day: Physical items are shipped the same day as long as the order is placed within the cut-off time of 1:00 p.m. CST and the product is currently available in stock.
  • 2nd Business Day: Physical items are shipped the same day as long as the product is currently available in stock and the cut-off time of 3:00 p.m. CST is achieved.
  • Ground Service: Physical items are shipped the same or the next business day, depending on order time. Delivery times will vary depending on several variables.
  • Free Shipping: Free shipping applies to Electronic Delivery products. These items include Software License OEM and Retail Product Keys, CSP, ESD, and Volume Software Licenses from the manufacturer. DirectDeals may occasionally offer a "free shipping" option on a physically shipped item as a promotional offer. Otherwise, all physical items are subject to shipping and handling charges.
  • Electronic Delivery: Software products, including games, are sometimes delivered via email, where the product key and a download link will be sent to the customer's email address on file, and the customer will download the product electronically from the URL provided in the email to install the product onto their computer, then input the product key to validate the product installation and activate the software.

DirectDeals maintains tracking numbers for all shipments. Once an item has shipped, the tracking number will automatically be emailed to the shipping recipient. A signature may be required for all deliveries. DirectDeals shipping is open during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, except holidays.

  • International Shipping: International shipping is not currently available at DirectDeals unless specifically negotiated through a sales rep and laid out with a valid purchase order.

Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) Products

If your product(s) states it is delivered by an electronic delivery method or download, you will receive the required product or license key in the email you specified on your order with us. A verified email address is an address that goes to a corporate domain or a verifiable entity. DirectDeals reserves the right to deny sending products to "freemail" email accounts for electronic delivery products. Electronic Delivery products are typically delivered within minutes. However, some CSP, ESD, and Volume License products require more time. Download Product (Download Product Keys) are typically delivered within minutes of ordering during regular business hours. After business hours, the product keys can take up to 2 hours to be delivered. DirectDeals reserves the right to place any order on hold and ask for verifying identification, if our systems alert us to a possible fraudulent situation.  This is done for the protection of the customer as well as DirectDeals.

Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) Orders Policy

ESD Orders Processing upon completion of the checkout process, ESD orders are processed immediately. You will receive a purchase confirmation email from DirectDeals within 30 minutes, including instructions and links to download your software. If your product is Manufacturer Delivered, however, your email will instead, include a questionnaire of end user licensing information required by the manufacturer to properly license and deliver the purchased item. This information must be received in a timely manner and the order can not be processed without the required licensing information. DirectDeals will send out numerous reminder emails requesting this information, but will place the order on hold indefinitely until the required information is received.

ESD Frequently Asked Questions

  • Multiple Products Download: If you've purchased multiple products in a single transaction with DirectDeals, after downloading your first product, please revisit the purchase confirmation email and click on the Product URL link for subsequent downloads.
  • Purchase Issues: For any problems completing your purchase, please contact DirectDeals customer support center. Direct contact with the software manufacturer is not advised as they will redirect you back to us in most cases.
  • Downloading Your Purchase: To download your ESD purchase, click on the download link provided in DirectDeals' Delivery Email, which directs you to the product download link or the manufacturer’s Download Center. For additional support, contact DirectDeals.
  • Missing Confirmation Email: If you haven't received your Product Delivery Email from DirectDeals within 30 minutes, check your email junk mailbox. DirectDeals Product Delivery Emails contain URLs and can often be mistaken as SPAM depending on how sensitive your email filters are set in your email program. If our Product Delivery Email is not there, contact DirectDeals for assistance in resending the email.
  • Missing or Invalid Product Code: Your Product Code should be listed in your DirectDeals Product Delivery Email. If missing or invalid, contact DirectDeals immediately for resolution.
  • Download Issues: If your download didn't complete, check your internet connection, sign out of the Download Center account, clear your browser cookies, and try again. Persistent issues should be directed to DirectDeals customer support.

ESD Account Registration

  • Accessing the Download Center: Log in with a supported authentication account (Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft). Some downloads may require authentication via the software manufacturer's service.
  • Authentication Account Requirement: An account is not mandatory for purchase but is required to download the ESD product from DirectDeals' Download Center.
  • Using Existing Accounts: Your existing supported account can be used to redeem and download your ESD product from DirectDeals.
  • Account Issues: For forgotten usernames or passwords, please follow the recovery instructions on the authentication provider's website.
  • New Account Registration: Visit the website of your preferred authentication provider to create a new account if needed.
  • Privacy Assurance: Your authentication account is solely for user authentication with no further interaction.

ESD Order Tracking and History

  • Viewing Order History: Access "Your Products" page within the Download Center to view your DirectDeals ESD purchase history.
  • Product Visibility: Purchases remain visible for 12 months from the purchase date in the Download Center.
  • Account Linking: If using multiple accounts, you may link them for a unified view of all DirectDeals ESD products.
  • General Product Inquiries: For questions about products purchased from DirectDeals, please contact our customer support.
  • Shipping Charges: DirectDeals does not apply shipping charges to ESD products.

ESD Cancellation and Returns Policy

  • ESD Order Cancellation: For cancellation of ESD orders, please reach out to DirectDeals' customer support for guidance on our policies. Manufacturer Delivered products must be canceled prior to being issued to the customer. Once the product has been issued, the order can not be canceled or returned.
  • ESD Returns: Manufacturer Delivered ESD products cannot be returned once the product has been issued to the customer. The manufacturer will not accept any returns for any reason, so please ensure that the license is exactly what you need prior to placing your order, if the product is ESD – Manufacturer Delivered. All other ESD products are subject to vendor restrictions, particularly if the software has been activated. Please contact us for specific details.

Software Licenses

The manufacturer issues software licenses and requires specialized handling when purchasing and shipping. The "SHIP TO" information in the checkout field for software licensing is where DirectDeals derives the licensing information for products that require "End User License Information." This information will be given to the manufacturer, and the information provided in this field will be used to issue the license. Special attention and care must be given to reflect the correct licensee information. Software licenses are emailed directly from the manufacturer. Please ensure that the email address on your account is accurate.

Software licenses are not returnable but can be exchanged for a different license from the same manufacturer. Software licensing policies may be subject to other restrictions each software manufacturer imposes.

DirectDeals Return Policy

We encourage you to contact our customer service team with any questions or concerns regarding our return policy. We appreciate your business and are committed to providing you with the best customer experience possible.

Our return policy varies by product type and sales channel. Please refer to each sales channel's detailed return policy for specific terms and conditions. We are committed to ensuring our customers' satisfaction and have a comprehensive and strict return policy.

  • General Return Policy: All items shipped from DirectDeals.com can be returned within 30 days of delivery unless otherwise specified. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please initiate a return request through our website, with our support team at support@directdeals.com, or through your online account on DirectDeals.com.
  • CSP and ESD Software Products: CSP software licenses are not refundable past the time limits specified by the product manufacturer. There are no refunds or returns on CSP products after these time limits expire. CSP products can be altered only once during a minimal time frame, so very detailed instructions must be followed before purchasing and licensing CSP products. A minimum 15% restocking fee will be imposed on all returns based on the reason and circumstance of the return. ESD products are non-refundable and non-returnable. They are permanent licenses and can not be altered once they are issued. No refunds on ESD licenses once they are issued.  Other restrictions apply.
  • Computers and Electronics: New desktops, laptops, tablets, and other electronics purchased from DirectDeals that didn't start upon arrival, arrived in damaged condition, or are still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. However, any returned product that is opened, damaged through customer misuse, missing parts (including documents), or in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the product's condition. An open box restocking fee starts at 50% of the product's sale value, and any damage can result in a restocking fee of up to 100%.
  • Restocking Fee: DirectDeals may impose a fee of 15% of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the product's condition upon return. If a product returned is opened, activated, used, or missing parts, a fee of up to 100% will be charged to recover all costs of the initial order and the costs of returning the product to the customer. If the customer refuses to return the product according to our policies, additional storage and disposal fees will be charged to the customer.
  • Video Games and Gaming Software: Unopened video games and gaming software can be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase. Depending on the circumstances of the return, a restocking fee of 15% may be charged. However, video games and gaming software that are opened, installed, activated, used, or missing parts or documentation do not qualify for return and will be charged a 100% restocking fee.
  • Non-returnable Items: Certain items are not returnable, including downloadable software, open software, online subscriptions (once installed), products missing the serial number or UPC, and customized products.
  • Erasing Personal Information: Before returning any items you've saved personal information, please erase this information by following manufacturer instructions. DirectDeals is not responsible for any personal information that remains on returned items.
  • Damaged or Defective Items: Non-returnable items that arrive damaged or defective are eligible for a refund or replacement. DirectDeals suggests refusing shipments that arrive with apparent damage to the external packaging. If the package is delivered and damage is discovered or delivered without a witness or signature, immediately take pictures so the carrier can be made aware of the damage they caused and make proper restitution. A shipping claim will require images of the damage, and DirectDeals suggests that you do not open the package if you believe the product has been damaged in shipping. Please take pictures of the damage and contact us via email at support@directdeals.com so we can start a shipping claim and issue a refund or send a replacement if that option is available.
  • Shipping and Delivery Policy: DirectDeals is not responsible for shipping delays or errors once items have left our warehouse. Any claims for lost or damaged items in transit must be directed to the shipping carrier. International shipments may incur additional fees and are subject to the recipient's country's customs and import regulations.
  • Undeliverable or Customer Refused Shipments: The customer is responsible for shipments that are considered undeliverable by the carrier or manufacturer for any reason.  It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate contact information in their profile so that we may facilitate an accurate delivery or contact them if an issue arises.  The customer is responsible for making adequate arrangements to receive the shipment or provide a safe delivery point for the carrier to leave the shipment.  DirectDeals requires an Adult Signature on most shipments and will require a face to face delivery of the product.  Failure to be available for delivery or to accept delivery will constitute refusal or non-delivery and will incur a 30% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.  Buyer remorse or customer satisfaction will not be accepted as a reason for refusal of shipments.
  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss for all purchased items passes to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier. DirectDeals is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of products after delivery to the carrier.
  • Product-Specific Warranty Terms: All products, particularly software licenses and electronics, only come with a manufacturer's warranty. DirectDeals does not provide any additional warranties. Customers are responsible for understanding and adhering to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Returns Overview

All products must be returned with reasonable care having been taken. "Reasonable care" means the products must not show wear or damage and must be capable of being resold as new. All returns and exchanges must accompany the original documentation, instruction manuals, registration, parts, and components. DirectDeals reserves the right to deny any return if it fails to meet the return criteria and conditions. All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may obtain an RMA number by contacting DirectDeals Customer Service. All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of your purchase date.

Return of Physical Products

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless instructed to do so by DirectDeals. Instead, contact us, and we will provide return shipping instructions. DirectDeals will cover shipping costs if the product being returned was in some way DirectDeals' fault. Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 days once the package is returned to DirectDeals.
